By-products
At La Panacée Soap Factory, we only offer up-market products. In that sense, quality control is carried out all along the production and that, according to very high standards. When a product does not meet certain criteria, it is taken out of production and does not make it to distribution. These by-products, which are generally taken out of production because of small imperfections, have the same exceptional properties than the other ones. At that point, we face two choices: We can recycle them through production or we can give them to people who could not afford them otherwise. For us, the choice is simple. We offer them, through organizations or otherwise, to people in need.
No substances toxic to the body or the environment
What has motivated us to develop “good for the health” cosmetics is that there were not any on the market that met our expectations. All major brand name products comprise at least one ingredient that is harmful to the body or the environment. Even certain so-called “handicraft products” contain synthetic fragrances and perfumes, to mention only those, that are known contaminants for the body. This is the reason why we have decided to manufacture products keeping in mind our philosophy that nothing harmful for the body or the environment could go into them.
We insisted so much on that principle that we have made it our slogan. Consequently, all of our products are made exclusively with ingredients that are healthy for the body and nature. Most of them even have curative properties as demonstrated by scientific research. It is also in the name of that principle that you will not find any chemical fragrances, perfumes, hardeners, or preservation agents in our products, and that practically all of our packages are made of recyclable or biodegradable materials.
